May 08, 2005 - 12:29 p.m. I've gone and made this diary obsolete. I'd feel a lot more sad about that if I wasn't mad that most of my old entries were lost in the Big Diaryland Server Holocaust. But yeah, I went and started up a website, videocrab dot com. I plan to add a Personal section to it, which will contain (among other things) a link to my LiveJournal. Any time I feel the need to write something really, really long and/or soul-searching, that'll go up in the writings area of the Personal section, or something. I feel a bit dirty about delegating diary duties to LiveJournal, but there is no shame in doing what one feels is best, especially since we're talking about web sites here. I still love Diaryland, I've just... sort of... outlived my own uses for it. Anyway, I honestly can't see why I need this diary anymore. (I just wish I could regenerate my old entries somehow without manually editing them all.) Hey, don't be like that! Stop crying! Aw... c'mon, it's not like any of you were still checking this regularly. It was delivering nothing but disappointment. Really, it's better this way. It really is better, because, now freed from the diary-mandated constraint of writing only about my boring-ass life, I'll have a lot more interesting things to offer, a lot more often. Really, everybody wins! So, check out my new website. Right now, it isn't much more than a generic "blog," but, uh, it has three comics on it. And it'll have more whenever I have a spare moment. With Matt moving away and Laurie going to Germany for two months, I am anticipating a LOT of spare moments. (Don't worry; I'll constrain my "I MISS MY GIRLFRIEND SOOO MUCH :(" posts to LiveJournal, where they belong.) Secret Insider Info: I plan to make one of my first website features a gallery of various things scanned from the legal pads which I filled with nonsense when I lived in my car. I now have an appropriate observational distance from that era. It should be interesting!
